Our annual Great Thanksgiving Ham and Turkey Giveaway was a success! 100 hams and 200 turkeys were distributed to neighbors thanks to our generous donors!

The Great Thanksgiving Ham and Turkey Giveaway is Coming!
On Friday, Nov. 21, CLCM will give away 300 turkeys and hams so our neighbors can enjoy a festive Thanksgiving meal. If you’d like to sponsor a turkey or a ham (or perhaps several!) for $25 each, please click the donate button above, scan the QR code here, or drop a check in the mail to CLCM, 809 S. 4th Street, Louisville KY 40203. Or donate “sides” for the meal to the Calvary Food Pantry prior to Nov. 17. Thank you!

Give for Good was a HUGE success! We raised over $29,000 through Match Grants and online giving! Thank you to all our amazing supporters. As need continues to increase following cuts to federal programs, we will continue to do all we can to ensure our neighbors have access to their basic needs.

Match grants will be available throughout the day, including opportunities to double or TREBLE your impact. Our School Supplies Drive was a HUGE success! Our volunteer crew sorted and packed 65 backpacks full of supplies. In addition, we sent a carload of supplies to Cochran Elementary and Coleridge-Taylor Elementary!
Join us again this year in collecting school supplies for our neighbors! Please drop supplies off to our offices at 809 S. 4th Street by July 30 so we can distribute before school starts in August.

Thanksgiving Food Drive
Two ways to give! Donate nonperishable “sides” for a festive meal such as stuffing, instant potatoes, sweet potatoes, mac ’n’ cheese, veggies, cranberry sauce, gravy mix, baking mix, and canned pumpkin or dessert mixes.
AND you can help by “adopting” hams or turkeys for $25. We will give away 300 hams and turkeys on Nov. 22 in time for Thanksgiving.
Drop off food at the Calvary Food Pantry, 821 S. 4th St., from 9:30-12:00 Mon, Tues, or Thurs. before Nov. 22 or reach out for other options.

Our annual Coat Giveaway was a huge success! Over 400 coats were donated, and we gave away 150 of them Oct. 22. The remainder will go to our Clothes Closet to be distributed as folks need them. Special thanks to all our donors and volunteers for helping keep Louisville warm!

We asked and you responded! The School Supplies Drive has been a huge success! In addition to filling 40 backpacks, we are donating 1200 packages of items to Cochran Elementary and Coleridge-Taylor Elementary schools. We collected scissors, crayons, markers, post-it notes, glue sticks, colored pencils, dry erase markers and boards, composition books, spiral notebooks, binders, graph paper, filler paper, pencils, pens, rulers, calculators, erasers, and backpacks--AMAZING!! Thank you for your generosity! Our neighbors are so appreciative. Today I packed several backpacks for families that came in, and one of them brought their middle schooler with them. I added a few special items, including a composition book with a cool cover I thought she'd like, and her face lit up as she opened her new pink backpack and found it. What a joy to support our kiddos as they return to school!
CLCM received a Good Works grant from the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels recently to purchase new computers and scanners. Thank you Kentucky Colonels!

Thanks to all those who responded to our Annual Campaign letter as well as those who joined us at A Noble Cause @ Noble Funk! We enjoyed great drinks and nibbles, got to know each other better, and Kay W. won the Blackstone Griddle raffle!
